A chain-link necklace, reimagined: loops of black and steel cable link into one another, so it has all the presence of a chain but almost none of the weight. In Meghan Patrice Riley's Brooklyn studio, each one is made by hand with techniques borrowed from textiles, which give the metal its soft drape, and finished with a magnetic clasp set in sterling silver.
